Yanling Ma is a Research Associate in the Office of Research & Policy Analysis within the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia. Her research interests focus on how environmental factors (e.g., campus climate) and individual factors (e.g., students’ demographic characteristics) influence students’ academic performance, enrollment, graduation, and retention rates, both interactively and individually. Additionally, she examines the effects of individual and contextual moderators in strengthening or weakening intervention programs. She has extensive experience presenting at national conferences in higher education.
