Jeckson de Andrade Silva is a Ph.D. student in Higher Education at Florida State University, where he also earned a Certificate in Institutional Research. A Brazilian scholar with a background in public management and education at the Federal University of Pernambuco, Brazil, Jeckson's research focuses on public policy, race and ethnicity, and Latino and Black student access to higher education. He has two years of experience at the FSU Institutional Research Office and educational management coordination in Brazil. His interdisciplinary scholarship bridges cultural heritage, anti-racist education, and equity-focused institutional practices. His current work explores the perceptions of Brazilian graduate students as a Latino subgroup in the American higher education context.
