Mitchell S. Nesler, PhD is a psychology professor in the Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences at Empire State University, State University of New York. His research interests include student success, institutional effectiveness, and the use of artificial intelligence in higher education. He previously served as vice provost for Strategy and Planning at SUNY System Administration, and served as the interim president/officer in Charge at Empire State University, where he also served as the vice president for Decision Support.
