Turning PDP Cohort Analysis-Ready Data into Actionable Insights using Power BI Description (INVITE ONLY/PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED)

Are you curious about how to unlock the full potential of the National Student Clearinghouse’s PDP Cohort and Course Analysis-Ready (AR) files? In this hands-on workshop, we show you how to turn these datasets into actionable insights. We start with an introduction to the Cohort and Course AR files, including how they can be used individually or together to answer key student success questions. Then, we demonstrate a Power BI dashboard built using the Cohort AR file, featuring visualizations on institutional characteristics, Gateway Course attempts and completions, credits earned, and time to completion. Then, participants will have the opportunity to upload their institution’s Cohort AR file (or use a sample dataset) and, in small groups, explore the dashboard and discuss ways to adapt the template to meet their institution’s needs.
