Organizing IR, Data, and Analytics for Advancing Faculty Eminence

Session Abstract: This session focuses on building analytics capacity to advance faculty eminence. Presenters will describe what faculty eminence is, why it is an important area for IR professionals, and how it can advance an institution’s IR, data, and analytics functions. Additionally, we describe (1) the development of a comprehensive, integrated data infrastructure to support the faculty eminence (retention, promotion, compensation, research, benchmarking, and strategic planning indicators); (2) how we collaborate with others to leverage analytics in a Matrix Network Model of IR; and (3) the studies and analytics an IR office can conduct to help advance faculty eminence and strategies for using data and analysis in support of improved faculty outcomes.
