Director of Faculty Analytics Indiana University Bloomington, United States
Session Abstract: While institutions have invested in improving the infrastructure for and analysis of student data to support student success, the potential of faculty data for student, faculty, and institutional success often remains unrealized. In this discussion session, facilitators will share findings from research related to what types of faculty data are available on different campuses and give participants the opportunity to inventory what faculty data are available on their campus. Through reflection and discussion, participants will consider the strategic questions that can be answered with faculty data, as well as the lived and anticipated challenges they face creating a multidimensional understanding of faculty through data. Participants will leave with a framework for leading change on their campus from an institutional research perspective to unlock the potential of faculty data.
