Session Abstract: How much a student earns has become commonplace over the past decade and increasingly important for institutions to understand. Yet, what is less clear are the various sources of earnings data being used, the strengths and limitations of each source, and the considerations one must give when interpreting the data for stakeholders. The purpose of this session is to provide an overview of various earnings data sources, compare and contrast the assumptions behind the resulting earnings values, and explore prior and current efforts to expand access to earnings data.
