Session Abstract: Taiwanese Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) are actively expanding Transnational Double/Joint/Dual Degree Programs (TDJP) to enhance academic competitiveness and global engagement. This study examines TDJP from an institutional perspective, focusing on key factors that impact program success and alignment with institutional goals. Our analysis explores governance and policy frameworks, partnership agreements, academic standards, faculty involvement, and financial sustainability. Findings provide insights for HEIs seeking to develop sustainable TDJP models that balance internationalization with institutional priorities.
