Lee Howell is the Program Director of Metrics Strategies in the Office of Institutional Research at Florida State University. Specializing in higher-ed analytics and research administration, he has served in senior leadership positions across multiple high-profile units on campus throughout his 20 years of service at FSU. As a research administrator, Lee was directly responsible for the operational, fiscal, and administrative functions of one of FSUs largest research centers, The Florida Center for Reading Research (FCRR). In his current role, Lee is tasked with developing and administering a Metrics Strategies program, with an emphasis on analytics, data visualization, and predictive modeling, to improve both institutional and program key metrics as well as national and international rankings. Mr. Howell currently also serves as a College of Business mentor in both graduate and undergraduate courses, including: CGS2518, ISM5123, ISM 5021, MAR 5125, and MAR 5625. Lee graduated from the FSU MBA part-time program in 2019 with a concentration in Business Analytics. He is currently an Ed.D. student in the FSU Online Educational Leadership/Administration program.
