Geni Harclerode (she/her) serves as the Assistant Vice President for Career Services at Loyola University Chicago. In this role, she provides leadership and strategic vision for the Career Services teams that collectively support undergraduate, graduate, and professional students across Loyola’s 13 schools and colleges. She also serves as a member of the senior leadership team for the Division of Student Success. Geni is an experienced leader in university career services, previously holding positions at University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and Northwestern University. She taught graduate courses as an adjunct instructor in Eastern Michigan University's Higher Education/Student Affairs program. Geni has contributed to conversations on student career development in outlets including the Wall Street Journal, Chicago Tribune, US News and World Report, and CNBC. Her past presentations include the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE), The Career Leadership Collective, and the American College Personnel Association (ACPA). She currently serves on a national taskforce examining professional career competencies for NACE. Geni holds a BA in Women's and Gender Studies and an MA in Higher Education Administration, both from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
