    Rick Loveday

    Rick Loveday is a Senior Research Analyst at Clemson University where he is primarily responsible for CHEMIS reporting and various institutional surveys. He used Python and several cloud services to create a portal for managing incoming data requests—a tool that later expanded to support automated reporting processes.
    Prior to rejoining Clemson, Rick was a Senior Data Analyst at Intelisys. In that role, he developed Power BI dashboards and implemented automated systems for key departmental workflows, including solutions that saved over 50 hours per month for one team and three hours per week in his own reporting tasks. He also previously served as a Prospect Research Analyst and Data Analyst at Clemson, building Tableau dashboards and analyzing fundraiser portfolios.
    Rick has delivered presentations on automation tools as well as using ChatGPT to enhance analytics practices. Originally from just outside Washington, D.C., he is the author of two novels—and for nearly three years, he has maintained a daily streak of solving 12 puzzle games, including Wordle, Nerdle, Quordle, Squaredle, and Duotrigordle.
