For most of her career, Sarah Dunnagan has focused on the transformation of data into meaning information. Since 2018, she has served as the senior research analyst & data manager in the Office of Institutional Research at Lawrence University (Appleton, Wisconsin). This role includes compliance reporting, the development of data models to facilitate strategic priorities, process efficiencies, and oversight of the institution's annual fact book.
Prior to her time at Lawrence University, Sarah served in a variety of roles at both public and private institutions, refining her expertise in leading efforts to streamline, conform, and document processes. This included time as the associate director of student information systems at National Louis University (Chicago, Illinois), a short-term position at Des Moines Area Community College (Ankeny, Iowa), and enrollment management positions at the University of Illinois at Springfield (Springfield, Illinois).
An avid reader of mostly fiction but expanding a cross a wide variety of genres, Sarah's interests include linguistics and the structure of languages (written, spoken, and visual). With proficiencies in Spanish, German, French, Italian, American Sign Language, and SQL, she enjoys opportunities to become more advanced with programming languages such as HTML, Microsoft DAX, and Deneb/Vega-Lite.
She earned a Master of Arts in Legal Studies from the University of Illinois at Springfield and a Bachelor of Arts with a History major (English minor) from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
