President, Board of Directors
Canadian Institutional Research and Planning Association (CIRPA), Canada
Miranda Pearson has been a member of the Canadian Institutional Research and Planning Association (CIRPA) since 2009 when she attended her first CIRPA Conference. Since then, she was keen to get more involved with the association and joined the Board of Directors as Secretary in 2012. Over the years, she has also served as Vice-President and supported multiple conference planning committees, and is currently the President of the Board of Directors for the association. She has greatly appreciated her time serving CIRPA and is keenly aware of the benefits of membership.
Miranda's full-time job is the Institutional Data Quality Analyst at the University of Regina where she enjoys immersing herself in the details to foster her understanding and appreciation of the complexities of data within a student information system. Beyond the IR office, she also works closely with colleagues in student services and information services.
