Navi Dhaliwal serves as Director of Economic Research and Data Strategy at the Research Institute at Dallas College. Navi leads the Research Institute’s creation of analytical briefs and data dashboards exploring the value of college, including projects on living wages, debt-to-earnings, economic mobility, and return on investment. Beyond his role at Dallas College, Navi is a 2023-2025 fellow of the Strategic Data Project, an initiative of the Center for Education Policy Research at Harvard University. Navi is familiar with the data sources and methods commonly used to evaluate economic returns to postsecondary students and has experience collaborating with the Institute for Higher Education Policy, Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board, and other leading voices who research credential of value attainment. He previously served as an Academic Data Analyst at Uplift Education, a Pre-K-12 school district in North Texas, and as a Research Analyst at the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas. Navi received his Bachelor of Arts in Mathematical Economic Analysis and Policy Studies from Rice University. He received his Master of Science in Economics from the Barcelona School of Economics.
