Reena is the Director of Enterprise Data Warehouse at Kansas State University’s Data, Assessment, and Institutional Research office with over 20 years of higher education data and analytics experience at multiple R1 Land Grant Universities. She strongly believes in the university mission of advancing students. Reena coauthored K-State’s data strategy and led the efforts to institute structural change, guiding the office through its transition and realignment. Reena serves as secretary on the HEDW (Higher Education Data World forum) executive board. She has facilitated webinars, panel discussions and presented at various events including HEDW, university professional development days and Information Builders Summit National Conference. She is the recipient of the IBI (now TIBCO) “i built it” 2020 national award for designing the Colorado State University’s Institutional Research Self Service Analytics Portals.
Reena earned her undergraduate in computer engineering from India and a master’s in computer science from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. She is also an alumna of HERS Leadership Institute 2022, Harvard Management Development Program 2024, and Carruthers and Jackson Chief Data Officer Summer School 2023.
