Dr. Adam Caskie is a highly accomplished professional with extensive experience in decision support and data administration. Currently serving as Director within the Office of Decision Support at the University of South Florida (USF), Dr. Caskie has been instrumental in overseeing and managing a diverse team across all three university campuses. He coordinates executive-level stakeholders to ensure compliance with state statutes and board regulations and provides strategic decision support for academic administrators and faculty leaders using comparative standardized data. Dr. Caskie is also Deputy University Data Administrator, responsible for receiving data from the Florida Board of Governors and signing documents on behalf of USF.
Throughout his tenure at USF, Dr. Caskie has demonstrated a strong commitment to data governance and strategic planning. He has served on the Data Governance Management Committee and played a key role as a Strategic Planning Officer for the 2022-2027 Strategic Plan "In Pursuit of Excellence." Dr. Caskie has also been involved in developing and delivering faculty and staff training on various topics, ensuring that enterprise system projects meet the university community’s broad strategic and functional needs. His leadership philosophy emphasizes data-driven decision-making, strategic planning, and continuous improvement, fostering an environment of equity and inclusion. Dr. Caskie's contributions have significantly enhanced the university's ability to manage and utilize data effectively, supporting its mission to provide high-quality education and research opportunities.
Passionate about mentoring future leaders, Dr. Caskie is also actively involved in various philanthropic endeavors, contributing to community development and educational initiatives. Adam has been a proud member of the USF community since 2015 and is a lifetime member of the USF Alumni Association.
