Hongxia Fu, Ph.D., is the Dean of the Data Management and Reporting Office at Dallas College. She leads district-wide compliance, operational reporting, analytics, data warehouse development, and data governance efforts. Before joining Dallas College, she was a Principal Planning and Data Analyst at Arizona State University, where she spearheaded research on student success, service program evaluation, and grant impact assessment. Her in-depth reports have informed decision-making for the U.S. Department of Education, the Arizona State Government, funding agencies, and senior institutional leadership.
Dr. Fu specializes in institutional reporting, business intelligence, assessment and evaluation, higher education policy, and research methodologies. She has been a regular presenter at the American Educational Research Association (AERA), the American Evaluation Association (AEA), and AIR Forum. Additionally, she has served as a reviewer for numerous academic journals and conferences, including Educational Technology Research and Development (ETR&D), TechTrends, American Journal of Evaluation (AJE), AERA, and AIR.
