Elizabeth Wakefield currently serves as the Director of Institutional Research and Effectiveness at Arkansas State University - Newport, where she is responsible for all external and internal reporting, data analysis, data literacy, and data visualization. She has worked in higher education for over 14 years in areas such as student success, fiscal support, institutional research, and assessment. Her areas of interest include data visualization through Tableau, data management through Tableau Prep, and telling stories of student success to enable change in higher education outcomes. She is a member of the Arkansas Institutional Research Organization and has presented at the state, regional, and national levels for IR organizations. Elizabeth also serves her institution in multiple capacities as the data lead with Achieving the Dream and vice-chair of the functional area user group for data governance within the Arkansas State University System.
