Compliance and Opportunity: IPEDS Data for Accreditation

Session Abstract: Preparation for accreditation reviews provides opportunities for institutions to harness information for planning and forward-thinking initiatives beyond compliance. Specifically, aligning IPEDS data with accreditation requirements and benchmarking with IPEDS data through the Compare Institutions Tool helps ensure that preparation for accreditation is part of a data-informed decision culture. This session will highlight key benchmarking areas (student enrollment, achievement, faculty/staff, and finances), provide a live demonstration of the Compare Institutions tool, and present example tables to help demonstrate compliance.
