Session Abstract: The 2024 AIR National Survey reveals that institutions continue to face significant challenges with data literacy—and they increasingly turn to Offices of IR/IE for support in building this capacity. One tangible way to help your institution improve data literacy is through the AIR Data Literacy Institute (DLI). This 12-week, collaborative learning experience supports a cohort of up to 30 participants from a variety of roles (faculty, advisors, administrators, and staff) who are directly involved in student learning, development, or support. DLI participants engage in hands-on training and complete group research projects focused on real institutional challenges. Join us in this session to explore the components of the DLI and how it can help enhance data literacy at your institution.
