Prosperity for Ohio: Mapping Academic and Workforce Outcomes

Session Abstract: Learn how the Prosperity for Ohio initiative is linking state higher education data with state employment data to track education to workforce outcomes and strengthen data-informed decision-making among community colleges in Ohio. This work is a crucial next step in decision support to advance economic mobility for graduates, especially in this time when the perceived value of higher education is in question. This session will review work to date including the development process, prototype dashboard, and the experience of the prototyping institutions. It will also offer specific advice and lessons learned to institutions interested in building state partnerships, creating data sharing agreements, and soliciting stakeholder input to build education and workforce data linkages for their own use.
