Session Abstract: This session will discuss how institutional researchers can contribute to building institutional intelligence in the area of faculty talent using a free data source: the Bibliometrix package in R. The presenters will introduce two case scenarios, each representing a different type of institutional intelligence related to faculty talent. Participants in this session will learn how institutional researchers can contribute to the decision-making and strategic planning related to faculty by presenting evidence on research outcomes, topics, and collaboration networks. R scripts and report templates will be shared with attendees.
